A dangling-type SV925 ear cuff featuring a raw tanzanite stone. It is a deep blue-purple, an exceptionally beautiful crystal. It is pleochroic, so the color seen from the side differs from the color seen from the front.
Please check the images for where to wear it on the ear. The fitting is adjustable. Open the fitting, slide it in from below the earlobe, and hook it onto the ear. Finally, gently press it closed so it will not fall off. The fitting material is 925 silver.

Tanzanite is the gem name for the blue-purple variety of the mineral zoisite. Zoisite was often gray or brown, colors not well suited to gemstones, but the situation changed after blue zoisite was discovered in Tanzania, and it became one of the popular gemstones after the New York jeweler Tiffany introduced it to the world under the name tanzanite. Natural, unheated blue-purple tanzanite is extremely rare, so gray or brown zoisite is often heat-treated to turn it a vivid blue-purple. There is also pink zoisite (pink tanzanite), which is even rarer than blue zoisite. Tanzanite has strong cleavage and breaks easily, so care is needed against impact, and ultrasonic cleaning is best avoided.

Store away from direct sunlight, high heat and humidity. After use, gently wipe the fittings with a soft cloth before storing. Some stones are vulnerable to impact, so please handle with care.

We photograph each piece as faithfully as possible, but natural stones are strongly affected by light, so colors may look different under sunlight, fluorescent, or LED lighting, and may also vary with your display settings. Because size is hard to judge from photos alone, please check the measurements in the description before purchasing.
