A 925 silver chain ring featuring a raw emerald stone.
A transparent crystal of pale green tinged with a faint blue. Making the most of the columnar crystal form unique to raw stone, it has been crafted into a delicate chain ring. The emerald swaying gently at the fingertip adds a light, airy impression, like a fragment of light floating on the water's surface.
Emerald is the birthstone for May. Emerald is a beryl, sharing beryllium as its main component with aquamarine and morganite. Since beryls take different gemstone names depending on their color, emerald refers to the green ones containing chromium or vanadium. Rather than transparent stones of pale color, those with a deep green and luster are considered more prized. Its origins include Colombia, Brazil, Russia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
