[Description]
This is a free size ring made of Silver 925 (rhodium-plated) using a rough fluorite crystal.

It has a soft yellow color with delicate blue-purple zoning. The crystal group has a square-like formation with angular edges. If you look closely, the surface also has a subtle uneven texture. It is a very beautiful crystal.

The Japanese name for fluorite, Hotaruishi, is said to come from the property that small fragments can emit a bluish-white glow when strongly heated over charcoal or a similar heat source.

High-purity fluorite can transmit a wide range of wavelengths, including ultraviolet, visible, and infrared light, and is therefore also used in advanced camera and telescope lenses.

Fluorite is a compound of calcium and fluorine, and it is known for having a wide variety of colors among minerals. Pure fluorite is colorless and transparent, but vivid purple, green, blue, yellow, and pink specimens are also common. It is found in many localities and is relatively abundant.

Because fluorite has perfect cleavage and tends to split easily into octahedral shapes, it should be handled with care and protected from impact.
